About this internship
This internship provides practical training in Enzymology, covering good laboratory practices, basic calculations, weighing and measurements, and the principles and handling of laboratory equipment. It includes enzyme kinetics and mechanisms, screening of cultures for enzyme production, pure culture preparation, crude enzyme extraction, partial purification, enzyme precipitation, dialysis, and characterization of purified enzymes. The training also covers total protein estimation using Bradford's method, SDS-PAGE, and the study of the effects of temperature and pH on enzyme activity. The internship concludes with review and certification.
