Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website or service provider. Similar technologies can include local storage, SDK storage, pixels, or other mechanisms that store or read information from a browser or device.

PracG uses cookies and similar technologies only to the extent reasonably necessary to run account, authentication, and preference features described below.

The categories below reflect the current production behavior of the app codebase.

When you sign in or use authenticated pages, PracG relies on essential session and authentication cookies provided through our app framework and auth provider stack. These are necessary to:

• recognize a signed-in session across requests;
• protect account actions and secured routes;
• refresh or end sessions safely; and
• support password reset and related sign-in flows.

Because these technologies are required to deliver account and security functionality, the site may not work properly if they are blocked.

The app currently defines two named cookies for sensitive authentication workflows:

• pracg-auth-pending-link: used during the account-switch continuation flow so the user can confirm whether to proceed with a new authentication link.
• pracg-password-recovery: used during password recovery so the reset flow stays tied to the correct account context.

These cookies are designed to be short-lived. The password recovery cookie is currently set for about 10 minutes, and the related auth continuation cookie uses the same short-lived pattern.

PracG currently stores your display theme preference in browser local storage under the key theme. This allows the site to remember whether you chose light or dark mode.

This preference storage is not used for advertising or behavioral profiling. If you clear browser storage, your theme preference will reset.

In production deployments, the current app loads Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to measure page traffic and site performance. Based on the installed package documentation, these integrations do not run in development mode.

We do not currently use advertising trackers or cross-site behavioral profiling technologies. If we later introduce broader analytics, experimentation, advertising, or personalization technologies, we will update this Cookie Policy and add consent controls where required by applicable law before enabling them in production.

• You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings.
• You can clear local storage through your browser settings if you want to remove remembered preferences such as theme choice.
• Blocking essential authentication cookies may prevent login, account recovery, and other secure workflows from working correctly.
• If browser controls are insufficient for a legal or privacy request, contact us directly.

We may update this Cookie Policy as our technology stack or regulatory obligations change. The date at the top of the page shows when this notice was last updated.
