About this internship
This internship provides practical training in Agricultural Biotechnology, covering good laboratory practices, basic calculations, weighing and measurements, and the principles and handling of laboratory equipment. It includes the introduction to agricultural biotechnology, effects of bio-fertilizers on plant growth, seed storage conditions, evaluation of pesticides and fungicides, and analysis of soil alkalinity and acidity. The training also covers estimation of chlorine and phosphate in soil, plant DNA isolation, DNA quantification using spectrophotometry, agarose gel electrophoresis, sustainable agricultural practices, preparation of bioplastics, and estimation of flavonoids and phenols in healthy and diseased plants. The internship concludes with a practical/case study review.
